Rebuilding & Innovating Our Infrastructure

We must have safe roads and bridges, sustainable and resilient water, sewage, and solid waste systems, and modern informational infrastructure necessary for thriving 21st-century communities.

Just repairing old systems isn’t enough. We must innovate, we must apply new technologies that reduce cost, and increase value. From roads engineered with new techniques and materials to be more durable, requiring fewer repairs, with in-built solar panels to power streetlights and more, to wastewater treatment facilities that use custom designed wetlands rather than dangerous chemicals to clean our water, we must rebuilt our public works to reflect our shared values of care for each other, the environment, and the natural wonders of Michigan.
